Mining and geoscience

AI for mining and exploration companies in Western Australia

WA holds decades of public exploration data, but turning it into a drilling decision still takes specialists weeks. We built the platform that puts it in one place, and the models that read it. Now we help explorers and consultancies put the same tools to work on their own ground.

Where AI helps, and where it doesn't

Workflows we often look at in a screening. Every one gets a rating and a reason; the real list comes from how your team works.

What we have already built

Your project starts from working parts, not a blank page. Try them now; each can also be installed on your own servers.

  • One spatial database of GSWA geochemistry, geophysics, mapped geology, structure and drillholes
  • A mirror of NVCL HyLogger drill-core scans, plus uploads of a company's own samples
  • Prospectivity scoring for eight metals, blind-tested against deposits discovered after 2020
  • Automatic core logging, unusual intervals and gold likelihood per metre
  • Geologists' questions asked of every page of the WAMEX reports, each answer kept with its quote

How a project runs

Four steps. You can stop after any of them, and each one leaves you something to keep. More on how we work.

  1. 1

    AI workflow screening

We review how your team actually works, task by task, and rate each workflow: automate, assist, or leave as is, with the reason, effort and risk for each.

Typically 2 to 4 weeks, fixed price

  2. 2

Concept design and proof of concept

We build a working prototype on your real data. Success measures are agreed before we start, so the result is a clear go or no-go with a build cost.

Typically 4 to 8 weeks, fixed scope and price

  3. 3

    Production development

We turn the prototype into reliable software, connected to the systems you already use and deployed in your cloud or on your own servers.

Typically 2 to 6 months, quoted per milestone

  4. 4

    Support and improvement

AI systems drift as data and models change. We monitor quality, update models and add features, with a named engineer who knows your system.

    Monthly, scaled to use

Who we work with: Explorers, mining services companies and geological consultancies in Perth and across WA.

Questions

Other industries we work in:

Can AI use our unannounced assays without them leaving our network?

Yes. GeoPlatform, MineTrace and CoreFlagging can be installed on a server in your office or at site, with a local language model. Public geoscience flows in; your assays, core scans and the scores built from them stay with you until you report them.

Do your tools work with GSWA, NVCL and WAMEX data?

Yes. Our platform already holds GSWA geochemistry, geophysics, geology and drillholes, NVCL HyLogger core scans and the WAMEX exploration report archive, so a project starts with WA public data loaded.

What is a good first AI project for an explorer?

A workflow screening. Common candidates are searching open-file reports for a new area, QA of core logging and ranking targets. The screening tells you which of these is worth it for your team, at a fixed price.
